With the world’s attention understandably focused on the plight of nearly 300 kidnapped schoolgirls in Nigeria, it’s easy to forget that a horrifying civil war rages on nearby in the Central African Republic.It has been called the continent’s forgotten conflict, and that makes the people who die there every day Africa’s forgotten victims.Over the last weekend, at least 13 people were herded into a home that was then set ablaze. A man who tried to escape the flames through a window was shot.And then a talented 26-year-old French photojournalist, Camille LePage, was killed while covering the fighting. Her final tweet featured an image of five armed men, scattered across a road, staring intently into her lens.
