Bollywood, which has now become a well-known Hindi-film industry in the world, has its origin in Mumbai (Bombay), Maharashtra, India. The beginning of Bollywood was with its first silent feature movie “Raja Harishchandra” by Dadasaheb Phalke in 1913. This rapidly growing film industry of India has an average production rate of 1000 movies per year with a worldwide audience of over 3 billion.So clearly there is no doubt that the Indian Bollywood cinema has really grown a lot in the past few years and rapidly more and more glamour is making its way in this industry. On the other hand we have a big cinematic giant Hollywood, with its origin in district of Los Angeles, California, United States. Hollywood has always known for its technical perfection and realistic approach in their movies and came into existence in 1910 with a Biography melodrama.In average production rate, Hollywood is lying behind from Bollywood with 500 movies per year and has 2.6 billion of worldwide audience. But these stats don’t describe the reality because Hollywood movies have always been ahead of the Bollywood movies. Those amazing special effects, sci-fi action and better creativity in Hollywood movies are just not reachable for Bollywood.
